"Great new place to be in the Caraibes"I was there Dec 13-20 this past few weeks. Wish i was there longer, i will be back in 2013. Great reception from Chloe and Thierry. Felt at home or like at friends place from the minute i walked in. Being nude all day around the pool and bar is a "must try" for any nudist wantobe. The views are great, the rooms are very well appointed and the spa overlooking is a daily indulgence i took full avantage of. Thanks again for the wonderfull week wiht you both. Will return again with friends soon. - Nudeluke, Montreal - January 2, 2013
"Always wonderful to come home again.."Everytime we step foot in the foyer of Club Fantastico our blood pressure and our clothes drop. This is our 4th or 5th time here and with Chloe and Thierry it gets better and better. They always make our stay with them warm, inviting ...As if this was our second home. Thierry is an excellent cook, and with little prompting or notice will whip you up a meal that is only equalled to the magnificent views you overlook while dining alfresco. We look forward to our trip back to Club F this April 2013 - hoof2it, Baiting Hollow, New York - December 19, 2012
"Hope to return soon!!"Chloe and Thierry met us upon arrival with smiling faces that never turned off. They treated us like royalty and bent over backward to insure our stay was the most enjoyable. The resort was VERY clean and the views are spectacular. It is a great location that is close to great restaurants, as well as Orient Beach. We are more than determined to find our way back soon and enjoy all this resort has to offer. Besides, our new friends are expecting us... thanks Chloe and Thierry... miss you guys already!!- gtbuzzworthy, McDonough, Georgia - December 15, 2012
"A wonderful escape!"We stayed at Club Fantastico for the first time in Nov. 2012 which was also our first trip to St. Martin. We couldn't have made a better choice not only to visit St. Martin but to stay at Club Fantastico.
Chloe and Thierry made our stay very enjoyable starting with our first night. Thierry had prepared a wonderful meal with great french wine and it felt like we had known them for many years. We stayed in one of the ocean view rooms which we found to be very clean and with a very comfortable bed.
Chloe recommended we rent a car and we are so glad we did, it allowed us the freedom to travel to Grand Case for great dining, shopping trips to Phillipsburg (Dutch side), made our visits to Orient Bay much easier and for general sight seeing, highly recommended unless you plan to just stay at the villa which isn't a bad choice either.
Overall we enjoyed ourselves very much and look forward to our next visit. The only negative was the mesquitos that come out in the early morning hours or after sunset, bug spray is vailable and a necessaity if you plan to be outside during those hours. Next time we hope to be able to stay longer then the 10 days we stayed on this trip, it was tough to say goodbye to our new friends Chloe and Thierry and to St. Martin. "Awesome, relaxing time"Just returned from our first stay at Club Fantastico. Still trying to get back to real life after a week of no worries, no problems, and pure relaxation. Upon arriving we were met by Chloe and Thierry, a bottle of red wine and a plate of fantastic food. Chloe and Thierry were nothing but great. They allowed us to have as much private time as we wished, and when we wanted to converse they were there. Both are very pleasant people who strive to make your stay the best it can be. We had one dinner at Club Fantastico and it was memorable both for the food and the company of all the guests. Everyday we had breakfast and it was delicious as well. The accommodations were more than adequate for us. We only slept in the room and then left for the beach or pool. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room very clean, and the air conditioner worked great. The whole atmosphere of Club Fantastico is extremely relaxing and is the real draw. The pool was very clean and refreshing, so the previously negative reviews are off on that issue. We will return, and only wish we could go back next week instead of next year. - P G, Virginia - November 19, 2012
"A romantic time and a new experience"I stayed at Club Fantastico Nov 2012 with my boyfriend. It was our first time in a naturist resort and we researched many options before reserving Club Fantastico. Club Fantastico is high on a hill neighbored by a number of large private villas. At the bottom of the hill (5-10 mins walking) is Orient Bay/Bikini beach. There is a pharmacy and a few hotels, restaurants and shops around the beach area. Club Fantastico is quiet and private without being isolated. Its easy to take a cab into Grand Case or Marigot for dinner, although next time I would probably rent a car from Chloe who can arrange it for you.
Chloe and Thierry are great hosts. All of the other guests were very nice and the atmosphere was chill, never any gawkers or weirdness. All of the common areas are open air, there is a living room style area with a large screen TV (no tvs in the rooms) and chairs, wifi, a well stocked bar and several dining tables. The back of the house is the pool area with hot tub, bar and four out door tiled showers. The rooms pretty much open into this patio. As Chloe told me on our first interaction most guests experience some level of undress during their stay but you should feel free to wear what you want. At times people were nude, partially dressed or completely dressed.
I've read all of the trip advisor reviews and was mystified by the dirty pool comment left by a past customer. It was crystal clear every day, no leaves or dirt, I saw Thierry cleaning it several times. I personally swam in it every day. The rooms were clean and the common areas clean. As etiquette suggests all guests would put a towel between themselves and the furniture.
You can be nude on Orient Bay Beach which is a nice area, where you can rent beach chairs and an umbrella and we borrowed some cups and a bottle of wine to bring with us making it a very pleasant day. Don't miss out on Thierry's cooking. You may request to dine in at Club Fantastico and Thierry will cook for you, the cost is reasonable and better than many of the fancy restaurants in Grand Case and Marigot. One night all of the guests dined together and the last night it was just my boyfriend and I. Breakfast was also great fresh baquettes every day, cheese, ham, coffee, juice, fresh fruit and sometimes croissants or eggs (at request). Chloe and Thierry were very kind to accommodate requests such as stocking a favorite liquor we asked for and popping up with random chocolates in the afternoon.
I slept well, Club Fantasico is peaceful and romantic, we stayed in an ocean view room which is slightly more money but worthwhile in my opinion. We had a large yellow room, the bathroom and bidet are attached, there was a bath tub, showers are outdoors. Several of the other guests were repeat customers many times over and we agreed we will stay there again next time we are in St. Martin. The feel is less like a hotel and more like you are staying at your friend's awesome villa.
Room Tip: The ocean view room we stayed in was slightly more money than the others but worth it. - Chapolina - November 18, 2012
"Why did we love it so?"It might be the way that Bella, the house dog, came running to the gate to welcome us back from a hard day at the beach. Maybe it was the sugar birds, fluttering down onto the outside bar for their sweet morning treats while we sat with our morning coffee. Or it could have been the hot tub or the open-air showers or the wonderful pool that made us feel we were at a Roman spa. It certainly could be the huge, soft, luxurious beds that awaited us at the end of the day (or earlier). But most likely it was all those, combined with the wonderful care and attention we received from our hosts Chloe and Thierry that made our stay at Club Fantastico such a delight.
And then there are the other guests. Simply put, you meet the nicest folks naked.
Club Fantastico sits high on the hill above Orient Bay. It’s a three minute drive down to Orient Village to the nearest boulangerie for your breakfast croissants and the day’s baguettes, still warm from the oven. It’s only 5 minutes to the beach bars on Orient and the beach at Club Orient is only a couple more minutes away. Just as well as we really want to spend as little time as possible with clothes on.
The Club is fully gated and guests are given their own keys, so access or security is never an issue. If you don’t want to leave the place you don’t have to. There are loungers and floaters aplenty if you feel like a day of doing nothing but lying naked by the pool. The professional-grade kitchen is available if, like us, you like to cook for yourself from time to time. On top of that, Thierry will happily prepare a meal to your requirement for a special occasion. In fact, Thierry does everything happily.
Being at Club Fantastico doesn’t feel like being at a resort. It feels like sharing a wonderful home with a bunch of good friends you’ve only just met. We visited in August and are counting the days until we go back.

"Club Fantastico offers a wonderful experience"We stayed a Fantastico in January 2012 and were a little apprehensive after reading some of the critical reviews. Simply stated, our experience was wonderful and we will return for another stay. The hosts, Chloe and Thiery, could not have done anything more to provide a more pleasant experience. The room, bathroom, and common areas were very clean and comfortable. After windsurfing or swimming in the bay, we swam in the pool eveRy day and it was always clean and crystal clear. Breakfast always was great, and the one dinner we ate at the facility was superb! We met the owner, Tony, and his wife Nancy, and they shared their favorite places on the island and made this vacation unforgettable. I would highly recommend Fantastico to others that want a better alternative to hotel lodging, with Chloe and Thiery as the hosts. A key thing about Fantastico is that it is located about 500 feet above Orient Bay, which offers cooling breezes which keep the insects at bay. The location also provides great panoramic photo ops every morning! - Ken W, Sedalia, Colorado - June 19, 2012
"A good three days"It all depends on what your are looking for. I gave it four stars, may wife gave it three. We spent three days there the first week of May. The rooms were nice, no TV which some may care about. The rooms are average size. The bedrooms and bathroom were clean. A lot may depend on who else is there during your stay, you certainly will be visiting with them, because most everything is done around the pool.
The breakfast was good, and Chloe and Thierry really went out of their way to do anything they could for you. They know the island well.
But the property is showing its age. For St. Martin that is to be expected, but this is a bed and breakfast experience, and not a hotel experience. -travelingtexan69, Houston Texas - June 5, 2012
"Club Fantastico, is...!"We have recently returned from nine days at Club Fantastico in St. Martin. The club lived up to its name and then some. It is on Orient Bay located in the Orient Bay Resort, a gated resort community of upscale private homes, condos, apartments, and a handful of boutique resorts. The club is small with only six rooms. It sits high on the hill overlooking Orient Bay and provides premier views of the bay.
The club is clothes optional, all the time. We found the open-air showers to be an exquisite experience! During the day you can choose to sit poolside or if you want a beach, Club Orient’s beach is available at no cost and is only a five minute drive away. The resort’s village has a number of shops and unique restaurants and is a ten minute walk down the hill or a five minute drive.
Chloe and Thierry are the hosts here and they bend over backwards to make sure everything is as close to perfect for you as possible. The rooms are air conditioned and wonderfully appointed. There is free wi-fi throughout the club. Thierry is a professional, gourmet chef and there is a professional kitchen at the club. He can suggest and prepare meals for you if you prefer to eat in. The bar is included in the room rate and it is fairly well stocked but they will get whatever it is that you prefer to drink. Breakfast is also included with your room. This is a continental breakfast, but they will create it to your desires.
Nearby is Grande Case, a charming seaside village with a street full of fine restaurants. We ate at the Fish Pot here and can tell you it rivals It Rains Fishes on Bonaire! There is also a high point overlooking the bay that provides a great spot for a picnic. Further down the road is Marigot where you can spend the day shopping in fine stores and, if you are into local color, on Wednesdays and Saturdays they have a local marketplace. This is the French side of the island where the Euro is the currency, at $1.30 to the Euro you have to be a sharp bargainer but you can get them down to one for one. Philipsburg is the capital of the Dutch side and downtown Philipsburg caters to the cruise ships, so you can imagine the shopping opportunities here. Again, go there ready to bargain. Without traffic and without stopping in Grande Case or Marigot the trip from the resort to Philipsburg is about 45 minutes. You get a clear sense of the hills of the island making this drive (here read hills as an understatement). -Wader42, Allendale - May 2, 2012
"We're now seriously spoiled!"We enjoyed a mega million dollar villa on the hillside overlooking Orient Bay that just totally exceeded anything else we've previously experienced. Fresh fruit, coffee, baguettes, and croissants begin the morning on the terrace overlooking the ocean, accompanied by adorable little yellow breasted sugar birds that Clohe tended and fed as faithfully as she did her guests. The rooms were elegant, the pool and hot tub inviting, and although we're not drinkers, the bar is always open and well stocked with whatever you desire. On top of all that, the choice is yours to bother with a bathing suit, or not:) Hey, when you're on the French side, be French! We loved it, and look forward to coming back next year.- TomH19063, Media, Pennsylvania - March 31, 2012
"Great, quiet and relaxing"This was our first time in Saint Martin and thus Club Fantastico for my wife and I.
What we can say is that Chloe and Thierry made this week fantastic for us. They are extremely friendly and make you just like feel at home which is important in a small resort like CF. They provided us with most appreciated services (airport picking and back, car rental) and were really eager to help you in anything you need.
Rooms are clean and comfortable (we had a sea view room which I recommend) and the pool cristal blue (we used it every day). The location itself is very quiet and just a 2 minutes drive from Orient Beach.
All this made for us a real great week, quiet and relaxing and we are definitely ready to go back. - Francois_Brest, Brest - November 27, 2011
"Our best trip yet......."My husband and I had a GREAT experience at Fantastico...location, view, accommodations, and service. Chloe and Terry were awesome--provided us with anything that we needed (rental car, a FABULOUS dinner and more) while still giving us our space and privacy. The facilities were very clean, even the pool which we used every day. Although the villa is not brand new, it is comparable to the other hotels/villas that we have stayed at in the area. If you're looking for a brand new commercial property then you may want to look outside of Orient. We would definitely go back! - TandME, Atlantic City, New Jersey - November 24, 2011
"My favorite spot in the world!"Wow! Amazing how perceptions can be so very different. This is my second visit to Club Fantastico and I will be back repeatedly! On this trip, we are here over Thanksgiving week and believe me it is my new Thanksgiving tradition. On our arrival, we were greeted by our wonderful host and hostess, Terry and Chloe with wine and quiche. It was dusk but we sat and talked with them for a while and then went into town for a quick bite to eat. Our week has been so peaceful. We spend the mornings reading by the pristine pool with a view of the azure blue waters of Orient Bay. In the afternoons, we usualy take a two minute drive to Orient Beach where we have lunch at the club and then lay out on the beach, read and luxuriate in the warm Caribbean waters. Chloe and Terry have suggested places for us to visit and eat and have done everything possible to make our visit comfortable and pleasurable. The resort is beautiful and clean and they have accommodated any request we have made. There is nothing like waking up with your windows open to the beautiful Caribbean and then stepping out of your bedroom and feeling the warm sun on your naked body. You can probably scroll back to a review I did from our August 2010 visit -- also a good review. The internet is a great thing but it is sad when anyone can say anything and people believe it. Trust me, this place is great and I will be back at least once a year and more if I can manage it. The only thing I would change is the name (a little 1970s). A more perfect name would be "Secret Pleasures" but in French! -- Terry Hines Smith - Terry S, Jacksonville, Florida - November 24, 2011
"So glad we didn't pay full price!"My wife and I vacationed in St. Martin for two weeks earlier this fall and our experience was eerily similar as the last review. Honestly, when you arrive in a lush paradise as St. Martin you wouldn't think the first thing that comes out of wife's mouth is "Honey when do you think was the last time they cleaned the pool?" Seriously, she did say that and I don't blame her. This was our first time to St. Martin and to Club Fantastico so we arrived with high expectations and we were let down tremendously (not by the island but by our accommodations). Not only does the entire villa need updating from flamingo pink bathrooms to the 70's dolphin fountain, it needs a serious cleaning overhaul! I'm not playing if Chef Gordon Ramsey from Hell's Kitchen were to walk into their kitchen, he would immediately go off (I can hear him yelling "You stupid donkey's!!") because how nasty and filthy it is. As for the hosts the websites and activities really deceives you in to believing that there will be activities planned each day for you along with this warm sense of being taken care of. Our hosts were cool don't get me wrong but it felt more like we were staying with relatives in their messy apartment and shouldn't complain because they were doing us a favor because we actually won our 7 night stay from them and only had to pay the taxes on the room which came out to only $176. I would have been mad as hell if I had paid the regular price of $200-$300 a night. Which is a shame because that added to us feeling conflicted to say anything about how disappointed we were in the place, because you know the saying "You get what you pay for?" The sad thing is the new management are really good people, however, at the end of the experience my wife and I really didn't feel like we won anything, but just another week on the expensive side of St. Martin. Then to add insult to injury my wife ended up getting a serious rash before we left the resort. It could have came from anywhere, but honestly I feel it came from the week we stayed at this dirty resort. I wish we could have experienced Club Fantastico in its hay-day from all the great stories we've heard, but we won't be returning to see if its old self is resurrected in the future when whenever we return to St. Martin. It's a shame because anyone with a little common sense and experience with real estate can see the potential of this place or what it once had. - JamesandFlorida, Chicago - November 4, 2011
"CF is not the same" This was my 4th visit to Club Fantastico and unfortunately it was disappointing. While the rooms are still well appointed and comfortable and the view spectacular, the rest of the villa needs a great deal of improvement. As usual, the hot tub was not working, something which was more easily overlooked during previous visits when there were no other major issues. The pool needed cleaning as well. Towards the end of our stay the water was so cloudy we didn't even want to use the pool.
The new managers were not very welcoming and actually made us feel uncomfortable at times. While I have never met Brian and from other reviews he sounds great, the previous hosts, Peggy and Mike, were wonderful, fun, outgoing and they always went out of their way to go the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time.
The beautiful kitchen which we always use to cook group meals was filthy. Everything had to be cleaned thoroughly before being used. In addition, the dishwasher and toaster were both broken.
While I have fond memories of CF from past visits, I do not think I will be staying here again unless the villa undergoes a drastic overhaul and the hosts learn something about hosting.
Room Tip: Garden room open onto the veranda but is away from the pool for more privacy - mauibabe7, New York - October 31, 2011
"Fantastico Yes? No?"You decide. My first trip to the island. The club highly recomended under the the "Mike and Peggy" era. Tony, you are are fool to lose the jewel.
The facility is beautiful but in need of a good cleaning (kitchen) and repair. The pool is scevatz (dirty). The current hosts did not give me warm and fuzzies, not very intune to our needs.
I would love to see this club succeed, as the the locatioN is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful.
Outdoor showers, fantastic, In need of a good overhaul, better hosts, and you'll have a winner.

"The perfect winter break!"We had a wonderful time during our stay January 9 - 16, 2011. The view from our room was spectacular! The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. We never used the shower in our room, instead we opted to use the outdoor showers that overlook Orient Bay. Our host Brian worked hard to make sure that we were comfortable and Chef Antonio cooked several wonderful meals in addition to Brian's wonderful meals. Club Fantastico is certainly worth a look!

"Amazing Trip"We had an amazing time at CF this December. Brian is a wonderful host and couldn't have created a more comfortable environment. He makes the yummiest meals and is happy to go the extra mile to make your stay priceless! Our room had everything we needed and the villa had more than enough to make for a fantastic stay. The views are gorgeous from CF, the pool/hot tub refreshing, the bar is fully stocked and the outdoor showers are great! It's easy to get anywhere on the island from CF and if you don't feel like going far, Orient Beach has more than enough to fill your days and evenings. We highly recommend you stay at CF the next time you are in St. Martin.

"Service as amazing as the view"It was like staying at our own private villa, complete with full service valet. Brian was amazing. Took us to nightclubs, made us breakfast, allowed us to cook dinner with him. We had an amazing rack of lamb for Christmas Dinner, complete with all the trimmings. It is truly our new home away from home. The room was beautiful, quiet and private, and the view was breathtaking.
